Embodied Yoga Principles

I was fortunate to be able to attend the VERY FIRST United States training of Embodied Yoga Principles, fresh off the boat from the UK. It just took place at Casa de Luz in downtown Austin, TX in early June.

Talk about divine timing!

I am currently working on the additional practice and workshop requirements necessary so I can be a certified practitioner, but details about that will come soon. I will definitely host a workshop at My Yoga Barn and out at CRV. I will certainly keep you posted.

I will begin infusing Embodied Yoga Principles "lite" into my classes in the coming months so you can get a flavor of it. I find the work very deep and important. It's yoga you bring off your mat in a way that yoga has always been for me, personally.

Founder, Mark Walsh, says "It's yoga for your life, not your hamstrings."

If you are interested in learning more about the Embodiment movement, check out Embodied Yoga Principles' website or The Embodiment Channel on YouTube.

I would also entertain a one-on-one session if you want to speak about that!

I am going to go inward for the remainder of June...like our teacher, Mark said, "this was like 5 years of therapy in 5 days." I am proud to have gone into the training a warrior and remaining one throughout.
